🌸 Junior Catholic Daughters (JCDA)

“Faith • Service • Friendship”

The Junior Catholic Daughters of the Americas (JCDA) is a program for girls and young women ages 6–18. Through faith, service, and community, our Junior Daughters learn how to live out Catholic values and make a positive difference in the world.

🌸 Junior Catholic Daughters (JCDA)

💜 Our Purpose and Mission

The JCDA program is built on a threefold foundation of Message, Service, and Community, guided by four key goals:

  1. To promote the development of the whole person – helping each young lady grow in confidence, self-identity, and positive relationships with others.

  2. To promote service to others – in the parish, community, and within the JCDA sisterhood.

  3. To encourage spiritual growth – through personal prayer, liturgy, and a deep understanding of the Catholic faith.

  4. To encourage creativity and openness – building programs that respond to the needs, interests, and gifts of each girl and her community.

✝️ How We Live Our Mission

Our JCDA members express their faith through hands-on service and joyful participation in parish life. Activities include:

  • Helping at Catholic Daughters events and parish fundraisers

  • Supporting community drives and outreach projects

  • Growing in faith through prayer, reflection, and teamwork

  • Building lasting friendships rooted in love for Christ

💐 Join the Junior Daughters

Does JCDA sound like a place where you—or a young lady in your life—can grow in faith, friendship, and service?

Our Two Fold Purpose: Spirituality and Service

The integration of spirituality and service is the foundation of the Catholic Daughters.  The Catholic Daughters of America (CDA) helps women develop their spirituality and provides avenues of service to live out that spirituality.  The Catholic Daughters of America gives members a unique opportunity to share their faith with other Catholic women.  Helping others through charitable acts in the spirit of Jesus Christ is the heart of our organization. "Spirituality and Service" is the heart and soul foundation of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
