Packages from Home – Supporting Our Service Members

Our court was honored to support Packages from Home, a nonprofit dedicated to providing care packages to U.S. service members and their K-9 companions serving overseas.

Through generous donations and dedicated volunteers, supplies were collected, packed, and delivered to help bring comfort, encouragement, and a reminder of home to those serving far from their families.

Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, resources, and hearts to this meaningful effort. Your support truly makes a difference.

We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with organizations that serve those who sacrifice so much for our country!

A Retrospective Study of Contrast Media Related Adverse Drug Reactions at a Tertiary Hospital in South India Revealing a High Incidence of Immediate Hypersensitivity Reactions Dominated by Itching and Rashes: Implications for Radiologist and Physician Preparedness

Contrast Media (CM) are essential pharmacological agents in modern radiological investigations, such as CT and MRI, used to enhance the visibility of internal structures, pathologies, and vessels, making subtle findings discernible. While safer non-ionic iodinated and gadolinium-based agents are now commonly used, their administration is not without risk, necessitating clinical preparedness for potential adverse drug reactions (ADRs). This study highlights that even with advanced agents, a notable incidence of ADRs exists, with immediate hypersensitivity reactions like itching and rashes being the most prevalent symptoms. ****

The challenge for healthcare providers remains the need to balance the diagnostic value of CM with the risk of patient harm, which ranges from mild discomfort to severe anaphylaxis.…

The Junior Catholic Daughters of the Americas is a program for young Catholic girls (ages 8–18) who wish to grow in faith, service, and friendship. Guided by the motto “Be Useful,” JCDA members learn leadership, community service, and the joy of living their faith through action.

Within this group, members and leaders can share meeting updates, post photos from service projects, and celebrate faith-filled milestones. Together, we encourage our young women to shine as examples of love, charity, and devotion.

The Bingo Concession Committee keeps the fun fueled! Members help prepare, serve, and sell refreshments during Bingo events, creating a welcoming and cheerful atmosphere for guests. Proceeds support the charitable ministries of Catholic Daughters Court #2651 while building fellowship among our volunteers.

Within this group, members can post menus, shopping lists, and volunteer schedules, as well as share photos or ideas for future concession offerings. It’s a fun and faith-filled space where teamwork and hospitality come together in service.

The Fundraising Committee has long played a vital role in supporting the charitable and spiritual works of Catholic Daughters Court #2651. Through creative events and parish partnerships, this committee has helped raise funds for scholarships, outreach programs, and special parish needs.

Although active fundraising projects are paused for the 2025–2026 term, this group remains a space to preserve ideas, share inspiration, and plan for future opportunities when the committee resumes. Members are welcome to post suggestions, reflect on past successes, and explore new ways to support the mission of Catholic Daughters through stewardship and creativity.

💜 “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” — 2 Corinthians 9:7

Our Two Fold Purpose: Spirituality and Service

The integration of spirituality and service is the foundation of the Catholic Daughters.  The Catholic Daughters of America (CDA) helps women develop their spirituality and provides avenues of service to live out that spirituality.  The Catholic Daughters of America gives members a unique opportunity to share their faith with other Catholic women.  Helping others through charitable acts in the spirit of Jesus Christ is the heart of our organization. "Spirituality and Service" is the heart and soul foundation of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
