Circle of Love

The Circle of Love depicts the focus of CDA activity.  Each spoke is bound together by the common interest:

Love.  The seven points indicate the needs of the Church and community best served by the Catholic Daughters.

The Education Contest/Scholarship Program, for both youth and adults, provides an opportunity to share God-given talents and pursue further education.

The Family Program encourages members to strengthen their families by praying, working, and playing together, and by loving and supporting one another in all they do.

Our Leadership Program encourages women to assume positions of leadership in the organization, parish and community and supplies information and tools to assist them.

Our Legislation Program helps keep us informed on public issues that impact our quality of life and family values.

The Quality of Life Program encompasses a number of social awareness issues that affect families, communities and the world.

The Spiritual Enhancement Program inspires members, both as individuals and as a sisterhood, to deepen thier relationships with God; our service is the way we witness our faith in Christ.

The Youth/JDCA Program nurtures personal and spiritual growth and promotes service to others through activities and experiences for young people.

No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

1 John 4:12

Our Two Fold Purpose: Spirituality and Service

The integration of spirituality and service is the foundation of the Catholic Daughters.  The Catholic Daughters of America (CDA) helps women develop their spirituality and provides avenues of service to live out that spirituality.  The Catholic Daughters of America gives members a unique opportunity to share their faith with other Catholic women.  Helping others through charitable acts in the spirit of Jesus Christ is the heart of our organization. "Spirituality and Service" is the heart and soul foundation of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
