Bingo Update 8/20/2026

Well...tonight's bingo was cancelled due to the Church getting a new roof and air conditioning system.  Betty and I were informed around 10:30 a.m. that the roof would be worked on tonight with some light noise.  When the bingo team showed up a 3 p.m., it was decided that we should cancel due to the dust and noise in fellowship hall.  People showed up, but I think they understood.

Betty and I will work on getting phone numbers of all the players so that in case of a last minute emergency cancellation, we can contact people.  Betty contacted the people who come down from Phoenix.

Everyone headed out, except for me and Rosie, before Hanan showed up with the entree and Diane Plevich brought parfaits.  Hanan shared her Mediterranean chicken curry with me, Rosie and Diane and about twelve of the roofers....see attached photo.  Well, the roofers enjoyed the meal and their boss, Meghan, was appreciative of our hospitality.  Of course, I couldn't resist in telling her she owed us $1,000....for bingo and the food.  Hanan will bring the remainder of the food to the homeless tomorrow.

Things happen!

See you at next week's bingo.
